The idea of a wedding breakfast at a favourite restaurant has long had cool-girl appeal (think Sex And The City’s Carrie Bradshaw and Big’s sit-down lunch), but for many, the amount of guests somewhat vetoed that plan. That is, until now.
‘Couples are selecting their favourite restaurants to have the wedding breakfast,’ Bernadette Chapman, owner of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planning (UKAWP), tells ELLE UK, ‘whereas this would have been out of their budget if the wedding was larger’.
After months of access to hospitality being limited, hosting an intimate dinner or lunch after your vows in 2021 is all the more enticing.
